Geoffroi Plantagenet (1144-1154)

1144 – Second husband of Empress Matilda, Count of Anjou, father of the future Henry II
Geoffrey returns Normandy to a state of order in the name of his son Henry who asserts his claim, as held by his mother,  to the throne of England.
1147 -1149 Geoffrey leads military expeditions to England.
1150 –He gives his title of Duke of Normandy to his son Henry.
1151 -Death of Geoffrey September 7th.
